Michael Smalley has spent nearly 40 years in the homebuilding industry. As Vice President of Finance at Lifestyle Homes he oversees financials, manages budgets and accounting for the company’s entities and projects. Mike is originally from Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from Northeastern Oklahoma State University. He also holds an MBA from University of Phoenix. Prior to joining Lifestyle Homes, Mike spent seven years as VP of Finance for Meritage Homes and nine years at KB Home. In 1981 he went to work for US Home as a Regional Controller. During his 18-year tenure at US Home he held management positions in corporate accounting, Division Controller and was eventually promoted to Director of Information Systems. When Mike is not working, he volunteers his time with St. Vincent de Paul as an associate member, serving as Chairman of the Finance Committee at his church and donating his services as Financial Secretary for the Knights of Columbus. Mike enjoys golf, snow skiing, cooking, and spending time with his wife.
