Jason Mathews grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Nevada. Jason also holds an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Brigham Young University. His career spans more than two decades in finance and consulting. Prior to joining Lifestyle Homes, Jason was vice president of finance for an HVAC and plumbing services company. He began his career in finance as a senior financial analyst at US Airways, which prompted his move from Las Vegas to Arizona. Since that time he has moved up and held positions in financial leadership for multiple companies and industries. As Controller for Lifestyle Homes Jason oversees the company’s accounting operation, financial reporting and analysis, audit management and tax compliance. Jason is a Certified Management Accountant. He is also an active volunteer youth leader and mentor for his church. When he is not working, you can find Jason outdoors rappelling, canyoneering, snowboarding, skiing or cheering on his six kids participating in various sports. Jason and his wife reside in Mesa with their four daughters and two sons.
